Here Comes the Sun, doo doo doo doo… ☀️

March has been so sunny and nice!

There are tulips and daffodils everywhere—and if that’s not a sign that spring is arriving in full force, then I don’t know !

Okay… maybe the trees are taking it a bit slow, but you can see the first buds coming!

With the March sun came our lust for road trips.
We decided to check out Næstved on a sunny Sunday afternoon. While it was pretty nice to look at, there wasn’t a lot going on—which honestly shouldn’t have been a surprise, hahaha

Soon after the official start of spring, we had something else to celebrate… Guna’s birthday!
We had a little get-together, and it turned out to be an amazing night.

Aside from that, things have just been nice.
Tabea and I are totally in love with cooking right now. And after becoming charcuterie board masters (check out the picture below!) , we've now perfected our lasagna!

The next day, we hosted a movie event featuring a film nominated for the Copenhagen Film Festival called "If I Die Today" .
It was beautiful, insightful, and sad and made us all a little pensive.

Nonetheless, we had a sunny day ahead of us, so Tabea and I packed ourselves into the car and took a trip to Vordingborg to watch some cows.
We went to a place called Knudshoved Odde, and we totally recommend it!

In between all these events, we’ve spent some cozy (and cold!) evenings by the harbor, had plenty of coffee dates at Viva, and of course, attended our language school lessons—which led us both to pass our first module tests. Yay!!

Then came our most recent concert—a young and upcoming band called Havblik, who brought such great energy into our concert hall!

The morning after, we got up bright and early for an Easter brunch event in Vordingborg.

Most recently, the Skills Championship 2025 was held in our big hall. (It's basically a carpenting, tiling and bricklaying competition)
There was a lot of commotion—old men in white work clothes coming back for coffee, young competitors full of energy, and families there to cheer them on. It was busy, buzzing, and full of good energy!

And that pretty much wraps up March and a bit of April.
We’re slowly but surely heading towards summer, and I can’t wait!
